Alex is an alumni from George Mason University, Honors College, with a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science. He shares a passionate interest for Software development, Mobile development, Web development, Machine Learning, Business, and Music.

Alex is an accomplished software engineer with a robust track record at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he currently serves as a Software Development Engineer. SDE 2 - One of the lead’s for CloudTrail’s integration team. I led the launch for NetworkActivity events which enables customers to audit any activity that takes place over their VPC endpoints. Collaborated with many teams and oversaw the design, implementation, testing, and release of this product.

SDE 1 - Working with CloudTrail integrations team to integrate current and new AWS services with CloudTrail. Our team is responsible for maintaining and improving our logging and monitoring tooling to ensure that all AWS services are integrated with CloudTrail and that customers do not miss any events.

Software Engineering Intern - Leveraged open source tools to develop multiple machine learning models that were used to acquire intelligence through object classification in images. Collected and annotated over 1000 images to train models and developed multiple scripts to prepare data and deploy models through Amazon Web Services (Sagemaker).

No More Shootings (Python)

Created a platform that can detect guns and inform the authorities before any casualties occur. Once a gun is detected, the local authorities are informed and an image of the suspect, their geolocaton, and their face are revealed to the general public and civilians are advised to seek safety through text.

Remedify is a REST API that provides natural remedy solutions for common illnesses. Data was acquired through a python web crawler made with the Beautiful Soup library and was accompanied by an iOS app to display the implementation of the API on a sample project
